Ongoing Commitment To Product Development
The Comino Research Centre is a dedicated research and training centre located in Dexion’s
Kings Park manufacturing facility.
The Centre is a first for the Australian industry and supports Dexion desire to show its customers
a total and long term commitment to the development of the safest
and most innovative storage solutions. It also supports founder Demitrius Comino’s belief that
all members of the ‘Dexion family’ should strive to learn more, and be better
at their respective jobs. The educational element to this facility will enhance that vision.
“Worlds best practice” is behind every Dexion product, and the Comino Research Centre is
equipped with the most advanced resources to support Dexion’s research and development program for
new products.
Speed-To-Market Enhanced
All Dexion rack products have been tested to European Racking Standard FEM 10.2.02 and Dexion holds the
quality certificate ISO 9001-2000 for the design, manufacture and installation of steel rack structures.
The new and unique ‘Structural Test Rig’ in the Research Centre has been engineered and
manufactured to Dexion’s exacting specifications to ensure the testing process is of international
standard, and FEM compliant.
The Centre enables Dexion to dramatically increase the ‘speed-to-market’ for new products.
